The woodland can be accessed by walking/cycling along the road and path from Lamlash towards Brodick. The best entry point is the view point car park between Brodick and Lamlash.

Walking/mountain biking up a track called ‘Mid Mayish’ up past The Brodick Bar on Alma Road, Brodick. Also, there is free car parking at the view point car park between Brodick and Lamlash (half a mile on the right as you leave Brodick towards Lamlash, it is at the the top of the first big hill on the A841.
